Wire Rope Clips

Wire rope clips, also known as cable clips or cable clamps, are used to form load bearing eyes at the end of a cable or wire rope, or to connect two cables together. Depending on the diameter of the wire rope used wire rope clips can retain 80% to 90% of the original rope breaking strength making them a popular choice. They are commonly used as end terminations on winches, to run cable through an eye bolt or shackle, and for perimeter cables at docks, construction sites, and parking lots. When using a U-Bolt style wire rope clip, be sure to place the saddle of the clip on the live end of the wire rope. The U-Bolt should rest on the dead end of the rope.
